On the back of several project wins in the Eastern States, WSP is seeking a proactive and technically skilled CSR Package Lead to drive the design and delivery of Combined Services Route (CSR) systems across major rail projects. This is your opportunity to lead the development of critical underground infrastructure that powers communication, electrical, and signalling systems along Australia’s rail corridors.

WSP encourages flexible working arrangements. Both maximum term and permanent contractual arrangements can be discussed.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead CSR design deliverables across all project stages and rail modes.
  • Manage the integration of CSR systems with other rail infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with civil, electrical, and communications teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical capability building.
  • Prepare and review high-level technical reports, specifications, and proposals.
  • Apply safety-in-design principles and ensure compliance with Australian standards.
  • Oversee construction phases and ensure alignment with design and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate globally to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer status.
  • 9+ years of experience in rail infrastructure design and delivery.
  • Current competencies with relevant Rail Authorities (e.g. MTM, V/Line, ARTC, RPEQ).
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of CSR systems and their role in rail operations
