About the Role

WSP Water, in partnership with Logan Water, is seeking a passionate and driven Renewable Energy Engineer to join our Project Development team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Logan’s pathway Towards Real Zero by supporting the delivery of innovative sustainable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Sustainable Energy Program team to deliver a suite of investigations, planning, project development, design, and delivery projects.
• Support the development and implementation of medium to large-scale utility grid-connected sustainable energy projects, including solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Conduct data analysis and contribute to project reporting and communication.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety protocols and standards.

About You

• Bachelor of Engineering (Sustainable Energy, Electrical, Renewables, or similar).
• Good understanding of solar PV systems and BESS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong data analysis capabilities.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in medium to large-scale utility grid-connected sustainable energy projects (PV or BESS).
• Good knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with the Australian renewable energy industry and its market operation.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive mindset and a positive attitude.
