About the Role:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will provide expertise in electrical design for both single and multi-disciplinary projects. Your role will involve leading medium-sized design projects and supporting larger projects, ensuring best practice delivery while managing costs and timelines, and developing strong relationships with clients. This role is also an opportunity to drive the development of our Building Services team and contribute to the achievement of our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Design Expertise: Provide electrical design leadership on both single and multi-disciplinary projects, particularly in
  • Project Leadership: Lead small to medium-sized engineering design projects and support larger, more complex projects to ensure effective and efficient delivery.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with external clients and authorities, as well as internal colleagues and managers, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Best Practices and Cost Optimization: Deliver best practices to achieve optimal outcomes for clients, focusing on saving time and reducing costs without compromising on quality.
  • Client Relationship Development: Build solid, long-term relationships with clients, identifying new business development opportunities and understanding their evolving needs.
  • Business Unit Development: Contribute to the development and growth of the business unit by supporting strategic goals and initiatives aimed at enhancing overall success.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering;
  • Strong expertise in electrical building services engineering and design documentation;
  • 6 to 10+ years’ industry experience on Australian building services projects, ideally in a consulting environment;
  • Well versed in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging and scale and sectors
  • Strong client relationship management and project management skills;
  • Sound working knowledge of relevant Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3000, NCC etc.);
