WSP in Australia is seeking a passionate and driven Maritime Engineer to join our dynamic Rail, Maritime and Freight team in Perth. As part of our Transport & Infrastructure business, you’ll play a key role in delivering innovative maritime and intermodal projects across Australia.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the delivery of maritime projects, ensuring quality and safety at every stage.
  • Provide technical input and assist in project planning, scope, schedule, and cost reviews.
  • Prepare proposals and contribute to bids, working closely with senior leaders and project managers.
  • Build positive client relationships through responsive and professional interactions.
  • Participate in WSP’s Maritime Practice Area Network and relevant industry forums.
  • Mentor junior staff and seek opportunities for your own professional growth.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • 3–7 years’ experience in maritime or related infrastructure projects.
  • Exposure to project delivery in a consulting environment.
  • Understanding of maritime design principles and relevant standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in multi-disciplinary settings.
  • Interest in developing client relationships and industry networks.
  • Familiarity with project management fundamentals and risk awareness.
