Our Mining Group
Our global team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals are supporting the industry to decarbonise mining operations in the accelerating green transition. Working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, you’ll join a leading team working on interesting and complex projects. We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining.
What you’ll do:
Working on a major mining project, you'll work alongside senior engineers and multidisciplinary specialists, you’ll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to projects that make a real impact. Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop and supervise the manufacture, installation, operation and maintenance of electrical equipment, machines and systems.
- Prepare technical reports on small to large projects.
- Support engineering input into ventilation, pumping, dewatering, and materials handling systems.
- Participate in site visits to support installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across mechanical, civil, and geotechnical disciplines.
- Apply safety-in-design principles and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
About You
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Electrical.
- 2-6 years of experience post-graduate, ideally within a consulting or engineering provider environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of working effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Some exposure to site-based project delivery, including installation and commissioning is beneficial.
