What You’ll Do

As a Project Manager, you will lead, manage, and provide technical excellence in delivering due diligence, Lender’s Engineer, and Owner’s Engineer services across the development and construction phases of renewable projects / utility-scale wind farms. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and negotiating specifications and technical schedules for contracts
  • Assessing EPC tenders and participating in negotiations
  • Leading technical due diligence for renewable energy projects
  • Conducting design reviews (if an engineer)
  • Managing projects and overseeing delivery
  • Performing site inspections, construction compliance, and progress monitoring
  • Reviewing and certifying contractor payment claims
  • Writing and reviewing high-quality technical reports
  • Building and maintaining a strong internal network across disciplines and regions
  • Supporting team development through leadership, mentoring, and training
  • Contributing to business development, including bid leadership, client engagement, and conference presentations
  • Building trusted advisor relationships with key clients
  • Leading and preparing successful multidisciplinary bids and proposals

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A degree in Renewable Energy or Engineering, with proven experience delivering projects in the power & energy sector.
  • Civil engineering experience with site-based roles and/or contract administration/superintendent responsibilities (advantageous)
  • A solid understanding of renewable energy project development and construction
  • Experience working on or supporting utility-scale renewable energy projects in Australia
  • Strong skills in reviewing and preparing technical reports and specifications
  • Demonstrated due diligence experience in project management, reporting, and technical review
  • Experience as a contract certifier, superintendent, or principal’s representative (advantageous)
  • Familiarity with construction and O&M contracts
  • A background in professional services consulting
  • Excellent communication skills, including high-quality written deliverables for clients
  • Experience conducting wind farm or construction site inspections for compliance, progress monitoring, and milestone certification
  • The ability to translate technical concepts into clear language for non-technical stakeholders
