What you will do:

You will help lead and drive several exciting projects!

You are not only a strong communicator but can “make friends and influence people” at the highest level - both at WSP and with our various portfolio of clients.

We are looking for a leader who thrives in building up and supporting both junior and senior team members, who is keen to not only supervise and delegate, but also mentor our next generation of up-and-coming engineers.

Strong at managing the design and coordination function across Civil work, you will be tasked to interface, manage, and deliver across a broad range of mining and infrastructure projects, including industrial area and maintenance facilities, site services materials handling, access roads, rail and other infrastructure to support mining projects, within agreed time frames and cost budgets.

Within this exciting role, there will also be scope to further grow and expedite your career by supporting the wider team and other teams within the company nationally when opportunities present.

 

What we’ll love about you:

As a Senior member of the team, you will have extensive, proven industry and technical experience on Australian civil and mining infrastructure engineering projects, ideally in a consulting environment - We also encourage those with a Water or Roads background to apply!

Due to your extensive experience, you would have established a recognised profile within industry associations and have had an active involvement and presence in shaping the industry.

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • Be well versed in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging and scale and sector, and have strong client relationship management skills.
  • Have sound working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and Codes (AS/NZS 3500, NCC etc.)
  • Possess proficiency with 12D and Civil 3D (Preferred)
  • Have Drainage software experience knowledge and proficiency in relevant engineering programs and/or drafting software.
  • High level skills in managing risk and applying safety in design practices and processes, whilst monitoring and managing the scope of multiple projects of varying complexity and size.
  • Prepares and reviews high level and complex technical reports.
  • Extensive experienced in applying QA and OH&S systems.
