Now, we’re looking for a visionary Water Infrastructure Leader to lead our growth in Western Australia.

WSP is expanding its Water leadership team and we’re looking for a dynamic Water Leader to spearhead WSP’s business in the WA Water Market, including client management, team development, project delivery and strategic growth —particularly with Water Corporation. You’ll be the driving force behind our WA water infrastructure strategy. 

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on leading pursuits, proposals and projects, and is excited by the opportunity to grow a team in WA, with the backing nationally. 

What You’ll Be Driving 

  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities primarily in the WA water market. 
  • Lead major water market pursuits and proposals for the water business in WA. 
  • Oversee commercial, quality, and WHS outcomes across key projects. 
  • Shape and deliver innovative technical solutions that exceed client expectations. 
  • Champion project delivery excellence and implement robust risk management practices. 
  • Foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and innovation aligned with WSP values. 
  • Collaborate across business units to deliver integrated, high-value outcomes. 

What You Bring 

  • Proven leadership in major water projects, including program/panel management and project/design management. 
  • Strong client engagement skills, particularly with Water Corporation, and the ability to build new and existing trusted relationships. 
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams, including virtual and remote staff. 
  • Commercial acumen to drive performance and optimise financial outcomes. 
  • Technical expertise across diverse water infrastructure projects. 
  • Strong track record in bids, proposals, and strategic business development. 
  • Ability to elevate D&C project capabilities and maintain strong contractor relationships. 
  • Skilled in risk management and applying Safety in Design principles. 
  • Passion for mentoring and building capability within teams. 
  • Professional Engineering qualification, with 10+ years’ experience, chartered status, and a consultancy background.
