What you’ll do

As a Senior Hydraulic Engineer you will be part of a wider network of professional engineers working on both local and national projects. Specific activities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Provide hydraulic services design & analysis on projects, design basis, scope of works specifications in accordance with industry standards on a variety of mid to top tier multi-disciplinary building projects
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, bid evaluations, construction support activities including RFI’s, submittal reviews, site visits and design revisions/change
  • Undertake design, construction, and investigative reporting, implementing National Standards, Codes of Practice, and industry requirement of engineering practices
  • Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time 
  • Provide project coordination and management when needed
  • Communicate effectively with all external and internal stakeholders and project teams
  • Build solid client relationships and representing the business with the local and regional markets 

About you

  • Hold a recognized Tertiary Engineering Qualification or other relevant qualification
  • Proven local experience in providing technical hydraulic services design & analysis on projects across a number of sectors
  • Proven project experience in building services consulting across a range of sectors
  • Ensure registration (or eligibility for registration) in the professional engineer register of the relevant state for the building/construction industry.
  • Possess a working knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
