Mining
Our global team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals are supporting the industry to decarbonise mining operations in the accelerating green transition. Working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, you’ll join a leading team working on interesting and complex projects. We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining.
What you’ll do:
- Lead technical direction of tailings design studies for multi-disciplinary projects locally and internationally.
- Provide complex recommendations and conflict resolution with client leads and external subject matter experts.
- Prepare, develop and execute best practice protocols.
- Lead complex risk assessments including Quantitative Risk Assessments and Failre modes and effects analysis.
- Develop solutions to meet client-based standards in addition to local and international guidelines.
- Manage risk in the design process associated with cost estimation for feasibility and detailed projects.
- Developing and maintaining effective client relationships and generate business.
About You
- Bachelor Qualification in Engineering (Civil/Mining or similar).
- Extensive proven working experience on tailings/mine waste projects locally or internationally, ideally in a consulting environment.
- Peer recognition locally and/or internationally as an expert in tailings related services.
- Demonstrated experience managing technically and commercially in a mining consultancy.
- In-depth understanding of local and international guidelines (i.e. GISTM), best practice protocols and client standards.
