We’re seeking a self-motivated Emergency Management Trainer to deliver world-class training and compliance services across NSW. From gap analysis and audits to warden training and evacuation planning, you’ll work on diverse projects that blend fieldwork, reporting, and project management, while collaborating with industry experts and shaping resilient communities.

You will report to the National Training & Compliance Manager, collaborate with a team of high-performing industry experts, and be responsible for the delivery of our world-class emergency management training.

 

What you’ll do

You will manage Emergency Management frameworks for your clients in Sydney and broader New South Wales, specifically undertaking gap analysis, audits, evacuation diagram markups, and Warden training at Retail, Commercial and Industrial sites, balancing fieldwork, reporting, and project management.

Your will:

  • Deliver structured, flexible, relevant, and engaging training sessions and assist all learners to achieve their training goals
  • Ensure all training resources are current and compliant with our training standards and procedures
  • Prepare for, conduct and document both training delivery and assessment procedures using approved training delivery plans
  • Complete and maintain all training records accurately, document assessment results
  • Work with internal Account Managers to proactively provide training solutions and resolve any complaints or incidents in accordance with grievance procedures, documenting incidents and outcomes
  • This role requires travel across New South Wales one week per month (no weekends). Ad hoc interstate travel may be required.

 About you

  • Qualifications in the following: Cert IV Training and Assessment TAE40110
  • Previous industry experience in Emergency Services is advantageous
  • In-depth knowledge of AS 3745 (Planning for Emergencies in Facilities) and AS 4083 (Planning for Emergencies – Health Care Facilities)
  • Ability and desire to prioritise and multi-task is essential to balance travel, onsite training, and the time required to complete office administrative duties.
  • Strong customer focus showing a proactive approach to new opportunities and continual improvement.
  • Demonstrated experience in organisational effectiveness and best practices.
  • Past experience in Sales and /or Key Account Management would be highly regarded.
  • Valid Australian driver’s licence.
