Our Property and Buildings team is a community of built environment experts, driven by a passion to create sustainable, accessible, and resilient communities. Through powerful partnerships and multidisciplinary collaboration, we design places to deliver social, environmental and financial value for clients around our changing world.

About the Role:

  • Support timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical and regulatory standards
  • Establish effective stakeholder relationships internally with colleagues and senior members of the business
  • Support senior engineers and project leaders with quality structural engineering solutions
  • Work in a market-facing and design delivery focused role
  • Handle ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients
  • Ascertain specifications and evolving client requirements
  • Proactively determine, manage, monitor and control scope of works
  • Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.

About You:

  • Bachelor to Master level degree in Engineering (Civil/ Structural Engineering);
  • Circa 3 to 5+ years’ experience on medium/large Australian building structures engineering projects, e.g. Transport, health, defence or education
  • Capacity to manage small-scale projects autonomously and deliver medium/large-scale projects as part of a team
  • Strong steel and post-tensioned (PT) design and inspections skills
  • Moderate-to-high level of proficiency with such as RAM and RAPT as key engineering software packages
  • Ideally you have an understanding of ETABS, BIM, NavisWorks and Revit Structure
  • Highly developed customer-focus, leadership, teamwork, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Expertise with post-tensioned (PT) design (highly regarded);
