We’re on the lookout for a Senior Consultant or Associate with deep expertise in contaminated land and groundwater. If you bring sector experience in Mining, Oil & Gas, Defence, Transport Infrastructure, or Industrial sites, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do:
- Own and lead projects of varying scale and complexity from end to end
- Review and sign off on technical deliverables to ensure top-tier quality
- Mentor and coach team members to grow technical depth and confidence
- Drive market growth in your preferred sector, e.g. Mining, Transport & Infrastructure, or Oil & Gas
- Build and manage strong client relationships and lead strategic pursuits
- Shape our brand through targeted marketing, communications, and engagement
- Champion safety, embedding a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate across borders, connecting with WSP’s Earth & Environmental teams locally and globally
Current projects include mine closure and decommissioning, legacy industrial sites, upstream and downstream oil & gas, transport infrastructure (rail, road, ports), defence and renewable energy projects, and property transaction due diligence.
About you
You will have deep experience in providing technical leadership and strategic advice to clients while leading multiple high profile contaminated sites projects, with significant experience overseeing field programs, with a focus on the Mining, Transport & Infrastructure or Oil & Gas sector.
In addition, you bring the following experience and attributes:
- Strong understanding of the structure and application of the WA contaminated land regulatory framework
- Experience in leading subcontractors on multiple sites in both assessment and remediation activities
- Competent in identifying and managing risk on substantial projects
- Experience in managing, tracking and meeting client funding and related targets
- Proven ability in building the client-centricity capability of others and transferring expertise within an organisation
- Experience in developing and implementing major/strategic client relationship plans
- Compelling leadership style with the ability to inspire, motivate, encourage and influence others through a socially impactful style
