About the Role

Are you a results-driven Project Manager with a passion for delivering complex, high-value projects in the water utilities sector? We are seeking an experienced professional to lead strategic infrastructure programmes, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including upgrades, new builds, and compliance initiatives.
  • Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and scope definition to procurement, construction, and handover.
  • Engage and coordinate with stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, regulatory bodies, and clients, to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
  • Oversee cost control, risk management, and reporting to maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement, leveraging digital tools and structured governance to optimise project delivery.
  • Ensure all projects meet environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.

About You

  • Accredited Project Manager with significant experience in the water utilities sector (ideally 6+ years).
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects (e.g., wastewater treatment works, capital delivery programmes).
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and collaborative skills.
  • Expertise in cost control management, risk mitigation, and programme reporting.
  • Familiarity with NEC contracts and regulatory frameworks.
  • Commitment to professional development and adding strategic value across the project lifecycle.
  • Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management).
  • Professional membership
  • Experience with digital innovation and data analytics is highly desirable.
