The Opportunity

The BIM Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes and digital delivery across design and construction teams. They act as the central point of contact for model coordination, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with project standards, client requirements, and industry best practices.

As the BIM Coordinator, you will:

  • Acts as the coordination lead for the project/s, multi-disciplinary or discipline specific. 
  • Reduces project risk by identifying clashes early and streamlining information flow. 
  • Supports digital upskilling of the team and ensures quality BIM outputs. 
  • Improves efficiency in design delivery through robust model management. 
  • Acts as a bridge between design, construction, and digital teams. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project requirements and allocate modelling resources
  • Apply BIM tools and workflows to deliver complex building services projects
  • Interpret BIM requirements and implement appropriate protocols
  • Ensure accurate drawings and registration systems meet specifications and standards
  • Maintain technical standards in line with contractual obligations
  • Liaise confidently with external stakeholders and clients

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Diploma or Degree in Building Design, Drafting, Discipline Engineering, or equivalent. 
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a BIM role, including delivery on large or multidisciplinary projects. 
  • Strong proficiency in BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Revizto or ACC.
  • Solid understanding of BIM processes and standards (e.g. ISO 19650). 
  • Experience in model coordination and digital delivery workflows. 
  • Familiar with ISO 19650 or equivalent BIM standards. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise across multiple projects. 
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
