Join WSP Australia’s Property & Buildings team at the forefront of national infrastructure development. As the Program Lead for the National Infrastructure Project Facilitator (NIPF) project, you'll spearhead our efforts under the Federal Government's Closing the Gap Infrastructure Project. Your role is pivotal in driving the delivery of services on a range of infrastructure projects across Australia in collaboration with the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) and the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO).

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the NIPF Team with purpose, to be the consultant of choice by exceeding clients’ expectations.
  • Help ACCHSs understand its obligations under the capital works funding agreement.
  • Enable construction projects and administration processes run to schedule. Where delays are expected, proactively engage with the Commonwealth to resolve identified issues, and reduce delays as much as practicable.
  • Provide focus on technical excellence and expertise, to achieve high quality outcomes.
  • Monitor projects’ financial performance and team’s productivity targets.

About you:

  • Minimum 15 years’ technical and leadership experience.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Experience in supervising professionals and managing project teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring and managing the scope of multiple projects of varying complexity and size.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying legislation, standards, guidelines and project specifications.
  • Experience in identifying and managing risk on projects.
  • Proven ability in building the technical capability of others and transferring technical expertise within the organisation.
  • A track record of sharing key lessons learnt during project delivery.
  • Communication, influencing and negotiating skills.
