What you’ll do (depending on your level)
- Deliver planning and environmental assessments (EIS, SSI, SSD, MID, REFs)
- Build strong client relationships across public and private sectors
- Contribute to winning work through compelling proposals
- Lead, mentor, and help shape a positive team culture
- Provide expert advice on major infrastructure projects in renewables, transport, water, and property
- Collaborate with specialists across ecology, acoustics, land contamination, engineering, and design
Recent projects include:
- Strategic environmental assessments of emerging renewable energy technologies such as offshore wind, pumped hydro, and hydrogen
- Planning approvals for iconic infrastructure projects including the Beaufort Bypass, Inland Rail, and large-scale energy transition projects like EnergyConnect and the Central West Orana REZ
- Supporting the rollout of Fast Rail initiatives and Zero Emissions Bus transitions
About you
You’re passionate about planning and approvals, with a strong track record of delivering great outcomes for clients and communities.
You will likely bring:
- 3–15 years of experience in environmental planning and approvals (we have roles available for various levels)
- Proven experience leading or contributing to major projects and approval strategies
- A sound understanding of Queensland's environmental assessment frameworks and planning legislation
- Demonstrated ability to manage or support complex, multidisciplinary projects
- Strong communication skills and an interest in mentoring others (for more senior candidates)
- A team-first mindset and drive to grow with us
