We are looking for an Assistant Partnerships Manager to join our Water Group on the Gold Coast.
- Location: Bundall, City of Gold Coast offices (with flexibility to work from WSP’s Nerang office)
- Employment Type: Part-time (3 days/week) with potential to transition to full-time
The Opportunity
The Gold Coast Professional Services Partnership (PSP) is a joint venture between WSP and Stantec, established to support the City of Gold Coast’s Water and Waste Division in delivering its capital works program. The PSP spans a wide range of services including strategic and master planning, business case development, economic analysis, project and contract management, and specialist engineering support.
WSP plays a pivotal role in this collaboration, contributing expertise in water infrastructure through concept and detailed design, environmental assessments, and operational planning. The partnership has delivered over 150 projects since 2019, including major upgrades to sewerage networks and the development of adaptive infrastructure plans for recycled water reuse, reinforcing the City’s commitment to sustainable and resilient water services
As an Assistant Partnerships Manager, you’ll support the PSP with the City of Gold Coast. This is a high-impact role where you’ll help drive operational excellence, support project delivery, and foster strong client relationships. This role is well-suited to a Project Management professional with experience working on Infrastructure projects.
Overview of Responsibilities
You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the PSP’s day-to-day operations, including:
- RFP & Document Management: Process and allocate RFPs, create PSP folders, manage templates and file structures, and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
- Workflow Coordination: Track return briefs and scope modifications, liaise with the City, and maintain project trackers.
- Reporting & Updates: Prepare weekly and monthly updates for EDS and the PSP team, support PM presentations, and manage performance and traffic light reports.
- Closure Reports: Oversee the closure report process, including tracking, validation, and submission.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Support PMs with queries, participate in PSP and City meetings, and respond to ad-hoc requests.
- Future Planning: Support with resourcing and contribute to broader program administration.

- Ability to work from the City of Gold Coast office in Bundall on the Gold Coast, preferably three days per week with local presence in the WSP Nerang office
