WSP’s Water Business Group continues to grow, and we’re seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our QLD Water Utilities team. Whether you’re already leading complex delivery or ready to step up, you’ll find the support, flexibility, and opportunities to thrive.
What You’ll Do
- Drive civil design development and delivery across the full water project lifecycle, ensuring outputs meet the highest technical standards.
- Produce and review clear, high‑quality technical documentation that communicates complex concepts effectively.
- Apply strong design and design‑management capability across diverse projects and program‑level work packages.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to enhance client satisfaction and deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Support the preparation and coordination of compelling proposals and pursuits.
- Assist with project and design management across a wide range of water infrastructure projects, from pipelines to pump stations.
- Work closely with engineering, environmental, and project management teams on major infrastructure programs shaping communities.
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- 6+ years’ experience in an engineering consultancy environment.
- Proven experience in the detailed design of water networks, water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines and pump stations.
- Exposure to design management for water and wastewater projects.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and WSAA codes (advantageous).
- Chartered Engineer status or working towards it (advantageous).
- Proficiency with Civil 3D and 2D/3D CADD software (advantageous).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to consult effectively with clients and collaborate internally.
