What you’ll do:

  • Comply with all role-specific SHEQ obligations as detailed in the relevant RACI matrix.
  • Develop process-based workflows to assist in the production of deliverables.
  • Engage with and promote the Computational Design and Modelling working group.
  • Help develop capability of Parametric model-based deliverables.
  • Promote a culture of technical excellence through mentoring and training less experienced drafters.
  • Possess appropriate time management skills and flexibility to allow for the management of a varying workload.
  • Actively assist colleagues in achieving improved client feedback results, enhance satisfaction and exceed client expectations.

 

About you:

  • Typically 2 - 5 years’ experience as a Structural Drafter.
  • Demonstrated experience in Revit Structures.
  • Experience with Computational Design software, such as Grasshopper, Dynamo and Python preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Parametric Structural Modelling practices.
  • Revit skills including template and family/component creation.
  • An ability to apply their design and or engineering experience to the models they produce.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Working Knowledge of national codes and classification schemes and how they can be applied to DE delivery.
  • An excellent understanding of Digital Engineering best practice for BIM deliverables and processes.
  • Exposure to different business models and industry best practice.
