Mining
Our global team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals are supporting the industry to decarbonise mining operations in the accelerating green transition. Working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, you’ll join a leading team working on interesting and complex projects. We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage tailings design studies, support analyses, and provide technical support to junior and intermediate engineers as part of multi-disciplinary project teams on local, regional and international consulting assignments.
- Review technical deliverables with support from technical director.
- Develop scope of work for complex tailings related design and operational projects.
- Lead preparation of approval support documentation (Mining Proposals, Works Approvals Applications, and As-built construction reports).
- Lead and manage geotechnical site investigations and construction projects.
- Direct and provide input to complex analyses including stability, seepage, consolidation and numerical modelling.
- Assess and understand credible failure modes and how they apply to specific tailings storage facilities and lead risk assessments including FMEAs.
About You
- Bachelor Qualification in Engineering (Civil / Mining or similar).
- Proven working experience on tailings/mine waste related projects locally or internationally, ideally in a consulting environment.
- In-depth understanding of local and international guidelines and best practice protocols.
