Our Social Performance Team:

The WSP Social Performance team is focused on supporting our clients to deliver better outcomes for communities. We are motivated to contribute to a positive future in which people and the environment are at the core of big decisions. We guide our clients towards exemplary social performance across the project lifecycle. Our national team works across a diverse range of industries, including energy, mining, infrastructure, urban development. You could be working with an experienced team of professionals on some of Australia's most exciting projects and join a global community of world-class practitioners.

We design tailored studies and develop programs of engagement which identify and manage social risks and impacts. We support clients to implement robust systems of social performance to support ongoing improvement. 

What you’ll do:

  • Socio-economic impact assessment and management plans.
  • Demographic analysis, social research, survey design 
  • Community and stakeholder engagement planning and delivery
  • Social planning and social infrastructure planning
  • Social performance monitoring and evaluation
  • Social investment strategies and outcome evaluation
  • Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) visioning and advice on reporting frameworks

About You

  • Relevant tertiary education qualifications in applicable social sciences (anthropology, social research, social work, social planning)
  • Experience or understanding of social impact assessment, social infrastructure needs assessments and/or program evaluation an advantage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience within a consultancy environment preferred
  • The ability to work with a focus on safety and wellbeing
