What You’ll Do
- Deliver key technical tasks across a diverse portfolio of generation and power‑system projects, ensuring rigorous engineering outcomes.
- Prepare clear, high‑quality technical reports for small to medium‑scale projects, communicating complex concepts with precision.
- Develop proposal scopes, methodologies and cost estimates for power‑system studies and related project work.
- Perform classical power‑system analysis and modelling for studies such as load flow, transient stability, generator performance (NER compliance), insulation coordination, cable/transformer energisation, steady‑state assessments, short‑circuit analysis, and protection settings/coordination.
- Conduct field validation of generator performance through commissioning activities and hold‑point testing, including preparation of detailed testing reports.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in power‑system studies and associated engineering disciplines.
- Prior consultancy experience is highly regarded.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical capability within the team.
- Strong competency in preparing and reviewing technical designs, reports and engineering documentation.
- Proficient in industry‑standard modelling tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD, PowerFactory, ETAP and SKM PTW.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly in both written and verbal formats.
