WSP in Australia is seeking a strategic and visionary National Maritime Executive to lead our Maritime business across Australia. Reporting to the Director - Rail, Maritime and Freight and working closely with the Clients and Growth Director - Maritime, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of maritime infrastructure, while also contributing to the leadership of a growing national team of engineers, technicians, and project managers.

What you’ll do:
- Lead WSP’s National Maritime Team and support sector growth in line with strategic objectives
- Oversee regional Maritime D&C delivery models - prior experience essential.
- P&L accountability and help shape business strategy.
- Manage and mentor a national team, promoting collaboration, innovation, and wellbeing.
- Advance digital delivery and support WSP’s Net Zero design goals.
- Lead resource planning, project execution, and risk management across diverse portfolios.
- Serve as Project Director, Manager, or Technical Advisor on complex infrastructure projects.
- Partner with regional executives to support national delivery and business development.
- Build strong client relationships and ensure long-term success.
- Drive business growth nationally, meeting revenue and margin targets.
About you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (advanced qualifications desirable).
- At least 15 years’ experience in maritime infrastructure projects.
- Chartered status (CPEng) preferred.
- Proven leadership in managing large, multidisciplinary and remote teams.
- Strong business acumen with experience in P&L management, work winning, and strategic planning.
- Deep understanding of D&C delivery models.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex, high-value infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in risk management, technical excellence, and client-focused delivery.
- A passion for digital innovation and sustainable design practices.
