What You’ll Do

Senior Fire Protection Engineer

  • Lead fire protection design (wet and dry systems) for complex projects, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards, NCC, and client requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality documentation and cost-effective solutions.
  • Build strong client relationships and represent WSP with professionalism.
  • Identify new opportunities and support business development initiatives.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Fire Protection Engineer

  • Support fire protection design and documentation across a range of projects.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.
  • Contribute to project delivery and continuous improvement.

About You

Senior Fire Protection Engineer

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent) with 6+ years’ experience in building services projects in Australia.
  • Strong technical expertise in fire protection design and documentation.
  • Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit MEP and NavisWorks.
  • Consulting experience preferred, but candidates from D&C backgrounds are welcome.

Fire Protection Engineer

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience in building services projects.
  • Knowledge of fire protection systems and design principles.
  • Familiarity with BIM tools such as Revit MEP and NavisWorks desirable.

Both roles require excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
