Join WSP and help deliver Australia’s largest public transport infrastructure project. Sydney Metro will transform how millions move through the city, and we’re seeking experienced Senior, Associate, and Associate Director Mechanical & Electrical Engineers to make it happen.
The Opportunity
You’ll lead building services design for metro stations and precincts, ensuring safety, sustainability, and seamless passenger experience. At Associate Director level, you’ll provide strategic leadership and client engagement across multiple packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical or electrical design for stations and associated infrastructure
- Coordinate across disciplines (architecture, civil, structural, rail systems)
- Apply digital engineering tools (BIM) for integrated design delivery
- Champion sustainability and energy efficiency in all solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design reviews and stakeholder engagement
- For Associate Director: strategic leadership, technical oversight, and client interface
About You
- Senior, Associate, or Associate Director level experience in transport/rail projects or complex public infrastructure
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical or electrical building services design
- Proven ability to deliver in multidisciplinary environments
- Familiarity with BIM and digital coordination tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full Australian work rights (essential)
