About the Role  

We’re seeking a Systems Engineer to provide reliable and effective Desktop and Tech Hub support. This includes identity and access management, Microsoft 365 services, networking and cloud-based EUC technologies such as Intune and Virtual Desktops. 

The role involves day-to-day technical support, either via service desk interactions or in person at the Tech Hub, ensuring seamless system performance for our team members. You'll also contribute to the development and improvement of our EUC capabilities, aligning with WWG’s broader business objectives and ongoing technology strategy. 

What you’ll be doing 

  • Provide desktop and EUC support to team members, including in-person assistance at the Port Melbourne Tech Hub. 
  • Resolve technical issues logged via the Service Desk and Tech Hub channels. 
  • Monitor, manage and respond to ServiceNow tickets in the Desktop Support queue. 
  • Deliver high-quality customer service while addressing end-user support requests 
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement scalable desktop support solutions. 
  • Design technical solutions that enhance system resilience and align with business needs. 
  • Evaluate performance and scalability of desktop services to ensure cost-effectiveness. 
  • Maintain and improve documentation for Desktop and EUC systems, processes, and procedures. 
  • Ensure all system changes and implementations adhere to defined configuration standards.

What we’re looking for 

  • Experience working in IT operations, ideally in either EUC or Networking 
  • Relevant tertiary degree would be desirable 
  • Industry certifications (ie. Microsoft, Cisco etc) desirable but not required 
  • Experience working in ITIL 
  • Customer service skills and ability to have technical conversations with non-technical audience
