About the Role
As Production Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of WWG orders across our major clients. You’ll drive operational excellence through effective planning, streamlined processes, and enhanced visibility across production workflows. With a strong commercial lens, you’ll manage the allocation of onshore and offshore production requirements, making cost-effective decisions that balance quality, efficiency, and client expectations.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive production across all product categories from development through to bulk shipment.
 - Manage and maintain critical paths with suppliers and internal teams to meet timelines for design, development, sampling, approvals, and shipments.
 - Ensure timely delivery of bulk shipments by monitoring freight and transit schedules, aiming to improve speed to market.
 - Provide weekly progress reports on development to key stakeholders.
 - Transition workload to suppliers, including patterns, sampling, and testing, to streamline operations.
 - Address quality issues during development by engaging relevant stakeholders for timely resolution.
 - Identify and resolve any quality or delivery issues throughout the production process efficiently.
 - Collaborate with stakeholders to manage production processes such as factory liaison, bulk fabric and trim approvals, and material testing.
 - Oversee pre-production approvals to ensure readiness for bulk production.
 - Maintain strong visibility across production workflows to support proactive planning and decision-making.
 - Monitor raw materials, from forecast to obsolescence, tracking and reporting risk. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure obsolescence is minimized and finance is informed.

What we’re looking for
- Minimum 4+ years’ experience in a production or supply chain role ideally within apparel or consumer goods.
 - Strong understanding of end-to-end production processes, from development through to bulk shipment.
 - Proven ability to manage offshore and onshore supplier relationships with a commercial mindset.
 - Skilled in identifying and resolving quality and delivery issues efficiently.
 - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
