About the Role
As the Quality Control Manager, you will own and drive the delivery of quality across all ADF products, ensuring compliance with contractual, regulatory, and industry standards.
You will manage all quality assurance, quality control, compliance, and audit activities, ensuring that supplier production is aligned with expectations and that all products meet or exceed the required specifications.
In this key leadership role, you will lead a team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), and ensure that the entire supply chain is well-prepared to consistently deliver products of the highest standard.
What you’ll be doing
- Own and manage the Quality Plan, ensuring consistent delivery of quality across the ADF supply base.
- Oversee quality control activities, including product inspections, testing, and corrective actions.
- Lead quality assurance by developing, maintaining, and enforcing quality protocols and standards across production operations.
- Manage product compliance through audits, testing, and supplier reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory and contractual obligations.
- Maintain and update the ADF Manual and ensure all suppliers are aligned with requirements.
- Own the QMS Register, maintaining comprehensive engineering and compliance records.
- Lead internal and external audit programs to ensure alignment with contract obligations and industry standards (e.g., EIA:632, ISO 9001).
- Coordinate gold seal sample storage and production compliance reviews.
- Conduct and oversee factory inspections, audits (announced and unannounced), and inspection regimes, including setting Acceptable Quality Limits (AQLs).
- Manage rework processes and post-production inspections to drive continuous supplier improvements.
- Perform periodic risk assessments, identifying and mitigating risks proactively.
- Prepare and deliver reporting on quality performance indicators in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Contribute to garment construction improvements and offer solutions to suppliers for high-risk products.
- Lead a team by providing training, coaching, performance monitoring, and development planning.
What we’re looking for
You are a seasoned quality professional with strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to quality assurance and control. You thrive in dynamic environments and have a passion for maintaining high standards across the full production lifecycle.
You will ideally have:
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a similar quality management role.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and frameworks (EIA:632 and/or ISO 9001 accreditation experience desirable).
- Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems (desirable).
- Deep understanding of textile, garment production, and accessory testing requirements.
- Solid experience conducting supplier audits, inspections, and managing corrective action plans.
- Proven ability to manage risk assessment and mitigation activities in a quality context.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and act on inspection and audit data.
