About the Role

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key wholesale customers, driving sales growth through strategic brand and product launches and marketing campaigns, and creating and implementing sales strategies.

This role involves coordinating with marketing and product teams, analysing market trends to identify opportunities, overseeing campaign management, performance analysis, and reporting, while ensuring exceptional customer service and support. Additionally, the position includes growing our brands' Share of Wallet (SOW), Share of Voice (SOV), and Share of Space (SOS) with these key wholesale customers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own the customer strategy and tiering, integrate it with the wider Workwear Group strategy.
  • Manage sales, expenses, budgeting, performance, and governance measures.
  • Identify account growth opportunities and risks; establish KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and resource allocations.
  • Drive financial goals including sales, margin, costs, capital employed (SOH - Stock on Hand), and profit.
  • Identify and pursue national customer partnerships, brand, product, and marketing opportunities.
  • Manage product and brand launches, campaign management, and negotiate commercial interests to grow SOW (Share of Wallet), SOV (Share of Voice), and SOS (Share of Space).
  • Build relationships with account representatives, understand customer needs, make sales, and manage contract negotiations.
  • Conduct product demos, presentations, and training for customers and employees; set up and facilitate trade shows, conferences, and other events.
  • Prepare, plan, and execute key wholesale customers' QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews).
  • Negotiate WWG's contract terms and commercial interests during QBRs with customers.

What we’re looking for

You will be highly commercial and possess strong communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. Along with your business acumen, you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years in similar role
  • Extensive and successful experience in sales management or major accounts management
  • Being able to work effectively in a high pressured fast paced environment with multiple competing demands
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral / written communication skills
  • Organisational and planning skills
