About the Role
The Finance Business Partner will provide commercial and reporting support to the Wholesale function side of the business. It will require collaborating with the Wholesale leadership team (LT) and their direct reports, providing advice on commercial matters, help define and achieve relevant budgets and KPIs, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic agenda.
Those with proven experience business partnering to deliver corporate plans and budgets will be highly regarded.
This is a 6-month contract role looking ideally for an immediate start.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage the corporate plan, budget, forecast and month end process for Wholesale
- Provide accurate and value adding ad-hoc analysis to support the GM of Wholesale and key members of the Wholesale leadership team
- Provide commercial advice on capex projects, major contracts and initiatives
- Assist in the development and tracking of key KPIs relevant to all areas of Wholesale – sales, merchandise and marketing
- Review of profit and loss statements and balance sheet areas relevant to the Wholesale function
- Ensure accuracy of results reported
- Ensure strong internal controls in place with respect to all areas
- A member of the Finance LT to provide leadership and drive culture within the Finance team
- A member of the Wholesale LT to provide commercial leadership for the Wholesale team
What we’re looking for
- You will be highly commercial and possess strong communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. Along with your business acumen, you will have:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree
- CA/CPA preferred
- Experience delivering business analytics in a complex environment.
- Experience or exposure to senior stakeholder management and communication
- Experience in influencing key stakeholders to achieve desired or targeted commercial outcomes
- Experience within the fashion or garment industry desirable but not essential
