About the Role
As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will design, deliver, and maintain robust integration solutions that connect internal and external applications, with a strong focus on B2C and B2B e-commerce platforms. Leveraging Workato as the primary integration platform, alongside Microsoft Azure and other modern technologies, you’ll ensure seamless data flow, security, and scalability across critical business systems.
You’ll work closely with Product Owners, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, high-performing solutions. This role demands expertise in API development, data transformation, and cloud integration, combined with strong problem-solving skills to optimize and troubleshoot complex integrations. Your work will underpin the digital backbone of our operations, enabling innovation and exceptional customer experiences.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Workato and Azure technologies to connect internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into secure, scalable integration designs.
- Build and manage APIs, ensuring compliance with authentication protocols and data security standards.
- Monitor and optimize existing integrations for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, including root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes.
- Ensure all incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed SLAs, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
- Implement ETL processes and data transformation workflows to support accurate and efficient data exchange.
- Participate in architecture reviews and present integration designs for approval and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and version control practices to enable continuous improvement and rapid deployment of integration solutions.
- Provide after-hours support when required and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

What we’re looking for
- Proven experience designing and delivering integrations using Workato (working knowledge required) and Azure Logic Apps.
- Strong understanding of API development and management, including RESTful and SOAP services, authentication protocols (OAuth, JWT), and secure data exchange.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript for automation and data transformation.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data mapping, and working with formats like XML, JSON, and SQL.
- Solid knowledge of cloud integration principles, particularly Azure services, and familiarity with security controls and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain integration solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
