About the Role

The Senior Supply Planner plays a pivotal role in ensuring our brands deliver the right product, at the right time, and at the right cost. You’ll review and execute robust supply plans aligned to demand forecasts and WWG’s inventory strategy, balancing availability, cost, and speed.

As a senior member of the Planning team, you will contribute to an integrated, future‑fit planning function, strengthening WWG’s S&OP processes and uplifting planning capability across the network. This role is ideal for a high‑performing planner who thrives in complexity, embraces change, and is motivated by continuous improvement. You will play a key part in shaping planning excellence at WWG.

This role drives optimal inventory levels to meet sales demand and customer expectations, reduces back orders, and consistently delivers against Stock Availability KPIs. Working closely with Sourcing, suppliers, and the Supply Planning Lead, you’ll ensure product flows smoothly through the WWG network so our brands can show up for customers every time.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop accurate supply forecasts across the assigned product portfolio, identifying and resolving gaps between demand, supplier capacity, and lead times.
  • Monitor critical path milestones and proactively manage supply risks in collaboration with the Sourcing team.
  • Create, validate, and manage all Purchase Orders, ensuring accuracy of capacity, lead times, pricing, and MOQ requirements.
  • Ensure Purchase Orders meet all DC intake timelines and manage changes or issues through to resolution.
  • Champion inventory health by reviewing stock positions, inbound flow, and availability risks, providing insights and recommendations to uplift performance, and optimize inventory health and availability.
  • Build strong partnerships with Sourcing and suppliers, strong contribution on driving improved performance, capacity transparency, and alignment to WWG planning windows.
  • Provide suppliers with timely and accurate forecasts, ensuring alignment with WWG production cycles.
  • Maintain high‑quality master data and support continuous improvement of planning processes and systems.
  • Contribute to ongoing optimisation of supply planning ways of working to uplift efficiency and reliability across the WWG portfolio.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years’ experience in supply planning or related planning roles within a national support office environment, ideally retail or consumer goods.
  • Experience partnering with and negotiating with overseas vendors, with strong understanding of supplier capacity, MOQ and production cycles.
  • Experience working within an S&OP or IBP environment is highly regarded.
  • Solid understanding of international freight, global lead times and end‑to‑end supply chain flows.
  • Strong analytical capability with high attention to detail, experienced in inventory planning and PO management.
  • Highly organised team player with strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commercially minded with strong decision‑making capability, problem‑solver who shows initiative, balances cost and availability, and drives positive operational outcomes.
