About the Role
As a Senior Bid Writer at Workwear Group, you will play a pivotal role in crafting strategic, persuasive, and compliant tender responses that drive business growth. Operating in a fast-paced and often reactive environment with short turnaround times, you will lead the development of solution-oriented content that showcases our value proposition.
Leveraging AI tools and process innovation, you’ll streamline bid creation and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to shape winning strategies. You’ll also support bid administration, champion continuous improvement, and contribute to seamless continuity and stakeholder engagement throughout the bid lifecycle.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the creation of strategic, client-focused bid responses that clearly communicate Workwear Group’s value proposition.
- Collaborate with the Bid Manager and stakeholders to develop and articulate winning bid strategies.
- Conduct research and analysis on clients, competitors, and industry trends to inform bid content and positioning.
- Identify and implement AI tools to enhance bid writing efficiency, content quality, and process automation.
- Maintain and evolve a central library of reusable content, templates, and best practice materials.
- Share responsibility for bid administration, including document control, compliance checks, and submission logistics.
- Coordinate bid planning activities, manage timelines, facilitate meetings, and support stakeholder engagement.
- Engage with internal subject matter experts and external partners to gather accurate and compliant bid information.
- Participate in post-bid reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in bid processes.
- Provide bid management coverage during Bid Manager absences, ensuring continuity and effective stakeholder communication.

What we’re looking for
You will be highly commercial and possess strong communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels. Along with your business acumen, you will have:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in bid writing and tender management
- Demonstrated experience in strategic writing, solution development, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience with AI tools and process improvement in bid/tender environments (preferred)
- Strong project management, time management, and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail, proactive, and collaborative mindset
