About the Role
As Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end import, export and cross‑trade processes for all Workwear products across international markets. This role coordinates air, sea and courier freight, ensures accurate and compliant shipping documentation, and works closely with planning teams, freight forwarders, customs brokers and warehouses to support on‑time delivery into Australia, New Zealand and global regions.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining smooth international supply flows, managing export and return shipments, and ensuring freight costs, invoices and records are accurately controlled.
This role is an initial 12 month maternity leave cover.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage air, sea freight and courier shipments, including reviewing daily booking reports and tracking cargo movements
- Authorise supplier shipments and consolidate overseas orders to optimise freight efficiency
- Ensure all shipping documentation is accurate, complete and provided to freight forwarders on time
- Work closely with the planning team to manage inbound volume flows into Australia and New Zealand
- Create and maintain shipment records in Apex Pro and issue pre‑alerts to warehouses
- Prepare export documentation for shipments from Australia to New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and other regions
- Manage stock exports, inter‑company transfers and returns, including faulty garments returned to manufacturers
- Provide air and sea freight quotations, obtain internal approvals and instruct freight forwarders to move cargo
- Review, check and approve freight forwarder invoices, ensuring timely payment of all outstanding charges
- Liaise with customs brokers on duty classifications and rates, resolve cargo queries, and maintain import, export and cross‑trade journals

What we’re looking for
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally within a fast‑paced environment
- Experience in shipping, logistics or freight coordination is highly regarded
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage documentation and systems
- Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
