What will you do?

The Payroll Service Centre’s focus is to ensure the group has timely and accurate financial information and business support to make informed and accurate financial decisions and to fulfil governance and statutory requirements. The payroll and superannuation function ensures all payments are made in accordance with the relevant awards and agreements.

What do you need?

  • 3-5 years experience of broad payroll/finance expertise
  • Experience in a payroll position within the mining, engineering or civil industries
  • Previous experience as a Payroll Manager and managing a small team
  • Previous experience with Chris21 - highly advantageous!
  • Extensive knowledge and proven ability in the payroll aspects of a large, diverse and complex organisation
  • Experience in leading, developing and delivering payroll outcomes through teams
  • Ensure legal and regulatory requirements are met
  • Well developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level analytical and investigative skills
  • High level organisational skills
  • Ability to operate in an autonomous working environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
  • Ability to establish and encourage collaborative working relationships
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to perform duties of an administrative nature, including demonstrated effectiveness in achieving goals within guidelines and deadlines
