🌤 What This Opportunity Offers

As an apprentice, you will be employed by Work & Training and placed with our Host Business where you’ll gain real on‑the‑job experience while completing your nationally recognised qualification.

You’ll receive:

  • Full-time work Monday to Friday
  • Four weeks of paid annual leave
  • Block training through TasTAFE
  • Ongoing support, mentoring, and guidance from Work & Training
  • Daily supervision and skill development with an experienced team

🔧 What You’ll Learn

You’ll gain the hands‑on skills and technical knowledge needed to excel in the roof plumbing trade, including how to:

  • Install and maintain roofs, cladding, and flashings
  • Fit rainwater systems such as gutters, downpipes, and water tanks
  • Work safely and follow strict industry guidelines
  • Use, maintain, and care for industry tools and equipment
  • Understand stormwater and rainwater systems
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Strengthen both verbal and written communication skills

💰 Wage

  • National Apprenticeship Wage applies

✔ Essential Requirements

  • Ability to complete a pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
  • Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
  • White Card (Construction Induction Card)
