🌤 What This Opportunity Offers
As an apprentice, you will be employed by Work & Training and placed with our Host Business where you’ll gain real on‑the‑job experience while completing your nationally recognised qualification.
You’ll receive:
- Full-time work Monday to Friday
- Four weeks of paid annual leave
- Block training through TasTAFE
- Ongoing support, mentoring, and guidance from Work & Training
- Daily supervision and skill development with an experienced team
🔧 What You’ll Learn
You’ll gain the hands‑on skills and technical knowledge needed to excel in the roof plumbing trade, including how to:
- Install and maintain roofs, cladding, and flashings
- Fit rainwater systems such as gutters, downpipes, and water tanks
- Work safely and follow strict industry guidelines
- Use, maintain, and care for industry tools and equipment
- Understand stormwater and rainwater systems
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Strengthen both verbal and written communication skills
💰 Wage
- National Apprenticeship Wage applies
✔ Essential Requirements
- Ability to complete a pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
- Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
