- You would be employed by Work & Training - one of the largest employer of Apprentices and Trainees in Tasmania, and hosted for the duration of your apprenticeship.

- Theory training is conducted in the workplace.
- Your Work & Training Apprenticeship Consultant provides mentoring and employment support.
- At the completion of your apprenticeship you would receive a nationally recognised Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30220) and become a qualified tradesperson.
Learn how to:
- Assist in commercial construction of large scale developments.
- Undertake formwork and suspended slabs.
- Safely demolish existing structures, renovate and extend current structures.
- Work safely on busy building sites, alongside of other trade persons.
- Utilise power tools safely and in accordance to WHS policies and procedures.
Desired attributes:
- VET Pre-Vocational Construction qualification.
- Previous work experience.
Essential attributes:
- Hold a current drivers licence and a reliable vehicle.
- Have a White Card
- Have the ability to pass a pre-employment medical that includes drug and alcohol testing.
