This is an entry level position, and would create a fantastic opportunity for a young person just out of school.
You would obtain your Certificate III Business BSB30120 whilst working in a fast-paced well-established digital printing and graphic design shop in the heart of Kingston.
What would this involve?
- You would be employed by Work & Training for the duration of your training contract, & hosted to the digital printing and graphic design shop.
- Part time hours: 15.2 -22.8 hrs to start, but it could lead to a full-time position for the right person.
- Full entitlements including pro-rata accumulated annual leave.
- Theory training conducted one-on-one in the workplace with our experienced trainer.
- You would receive mentoring and support throughout the traineeship.
- Your workplace supervisors would provide daily coaching and opportunity for growth.
Do you have a desire to work within the printing industry and have a passion for art and design? Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, well presented, show initiative, and have a great eye for detail.
Gain valuable experience on the job:
- front of house service for our printing centre.
- answering calls.
- responding to emails.
- administration work.
- Creating work orders.
- Generating Invoices using XERO.
- Learning all aspects of digital printing.
What we are looking for:
- Someone that can work well in a small team or on their own.
- Computer literate
- Show confidence talking to customers face to face and over the phone, with a pleasant phone manner.
- Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn.
Desirable:
- A keen interest or knowledge of working with the adobe suite, and learning the printing and design processes is not essential but advantageous.
