A Business Traineeship could be the way to go. Business traineeships give you real life experience and the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification – all while being paid!

These traineeships can include a variety of roles within the business environment, including:

  • Reception positions,
  • Record keeping and file control,
  • Data entry assistance,
  • Client communications and correspondence,
  • Basic accounts and invoicing support.

What can you gain from completing a traineeship through Work & Training?

  • You would be employed by Work & Training – the largest employer of Apprentices and Trainees in Tasmania, and hosted for the duration of your traineeship.
  • You would receive professional guidance from your immediate supervisors, as well as mentoring and support from a Work & Training field officer.
  • The theory side of your qualification would be conducted one-on-one in the workplace, with expert tuition, by one of our amazing registered trainers.
  • Full time employment and entitlements, including four weeks of holidays per year.
  • On completion of your traineeship, you would receive a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business – BSB30120. 

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a professional attitude,
  • Confidence and great communication skills,
  • The ability to be adaptable and work under pressure,
  • Organisational and time management skills,
  • Excellent initiative and attention to detail,
  • Sound IT skills with a general understanding of Microsoft Office applications.

If you have the below skills and certifications, let us know in your application:

  • Certificate II in Workplace Skills,
  • Previous customer service experience,
  • Drivers license.

Wage: National Training Wage applies.
