What You'll Be Doing

No two days are the same!

• 👶 Caring for babies, toddlers and young children
• 🎨 Leading fun indoor activities and creative play
• 🌳 Supporting outdoor adventures and learning experiences
• 🧸 Helping children learn, grow and develop confidence
• 🍎 Assisting with food preparation, nutrition and mealtimes
• 🧼 Maintaining children's health, hygiene and comfort
• 💬 Communicating with parents and fellow educators
• 🤝 Working alongside a friendly and supportive childcare team

About You

• Passionate about working with children
• Kind, caring and patient
• A strong communicator and team player
• Eager to learn and develop new skills
• Able to prioritise children's needs and well-being

Desirable:

• Customer service experience
• Babysitting or childcare experience
• Certificate II qualification in a related field

Essential Requirements

• Ability to obtain a Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration
• Sound literacy and numeracy skills (aptitude testing forms part of the recruitment process)
• Commitment to completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
• Candidates already holding a Certificate III or higher in this qualification are ineligible to apply
