Join the team at Corporate Office which provides support and advice across the Wesfarmers Group

At Corporate Office, our Technology team is responsible for providing an efficient, secure and stable IT infrastructure and also supports knowledge sharing and procurement opportunities across the Wesfarmers Group.

Reporting to our Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate operational and technical desktop support with a strong focus on customer experience.

There are 2 full-time permanent positions available based in Melbourne.

 What you’ll be doing

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support (remotely and on site) for Microsoft desktop products, web based applications, video conferencing as well as other applications
  • Log, track and resolve calls made to the Service Desk and coordinate escalation of issues
  • Provide support to our Systems Administrators including system backups, log checking and maintenance
  • Assist with reviewing existing IT systems and provide recommendations which support our ongoing focus on continuous improvement
  • Assist with the implementation of new IT systems

 What you’ll need

  • Solid experience providing 1st and 2nd level IT support within a medium to large corporate enterprise
  • Excellent diagnostic, trouble shooting and problem solving skills
  • High customer centric approach and well developed communication and relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to prioritise workload and meet competing deadlines
  • A genuine interest and passion to partner with our stakeholders to ensure our collective success
  • Ability to communicate technical information in an easy to understand way
  • Tertiary qualifications and IT certifications are highly desirable
