About the team
Within the Wesfarmers Corporate Office, our Corporate Affairs team has broad responsibilities aligned with Wesfarmers reputation, including corporate communications and reporting, advancing our sustainability objectives, delivery of our reconciliation commitments, government and stakeholder engagement, and community partnerships - including the Wesfarmers Arts program.
What you’ll do
Stepping into this role will see you provide high-quality executive, operational and program support to the Executive General Manager (EGM) Corporate Affairs and the broader Corporate Affairs team.
You will operate with discretion, sound judgement and strong prioritisation capability, within the Wesfarmers Corporate Office.
Your role will encompass:
- Support to the Executive General Manager, Corporate Affairs (diary management, email triage, meeting and travel coordination, expense management, creation of presentations and reports)
- Event and Program Coordination (supporting the delivery of selected, key internal and external events, forums, workshops and activities for the Wesfarmers Corporate Office)
- Support to the Corporate Affairs Team Leaders (meeting and travel coordination and other support as appropriate and required)
- Corporate Affairs Department Administration (team expenses, meeting preparation and other support as appropriate and required)
What you’ll need
- Significant experience in providing high level administrative support to a corporate executive and / or team
- Experience coordinating corporate events is highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality outcomes in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven corporate environments
- Excellence in personal presentation including sophisticated communication skills and a professional demeanour and approach
- Sound digital literacy, especially to presentation software, expense management tools and information management systems
- Strong grammar, spelling and numeracy skills
- A willingness to engage with new opportunities to leverage innovation in your role
- Pride in your work, your workplace and its people
