About the team
At Corporate Office, our Technology team is responsible for providing an efficient, secure and stable IT infrastructure and also supports knowledge sharing and procurement opportunities across the Wesfarmers Group.
What you’ll do
Reporting to our Head of Technology Strategy and Delivery, this role will lead the development and execution of the GenAI strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. You will design and deploy AI models and frameworks which enhance operational efficiency and data-driven insights.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify opportunities where GenAI can drive automation, improve reporting, and enhance decision-making
- Develop and execute an AI and Reporting roadmap that leverages emerging technologies and aligns to long-term business objectives
- Develop AI models and frameworks to enhance operational efficiency and data-driven insights
- Own and manage the AI-driven reporting ecosystem, ensuring timely and accurate data insights
- Oversee the integration of GenAI-powered business intelligence tools to drive advanced analytics and automation
- Ensure ethical AI deployment and compliance with regulatory and corporate governance frameworks
- Engage Data Governance Specialist and data owners to source, classify and protect data assets from source to solution
What you’ll need
- Ability to deploy MLOps and AI model lifecycle management
- Knowledge of vector databases and AI search methodologies
- Ability to develop AI-driven chatbot and automation frameworks
- Ability to convert strategic initiatives into a prioritised program
- Ability to define value drivers and implement measures
- Proficiency in data visualisation and BI tools
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Knowledge of emerging technologies to drive innovation

The Corporate Office provides corporate services and support to the autonomous businesses within the Wesfarmers Group, enabling the achievement of Group objectives. It leads capital allocation and portfolio management for the Group and focuses on leveraging and enhancing the Group’s reputation to support attraction and retention of talent, securing investment opportunities and maintaining a low-cost capital.
