Wesfarmers OneDigital | Data Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager

This is a permanent full-time position based in our Melbourne, Sydney or Perth offices – Hybrid work optional

In this role, you'll get to

  • Implement Data Governance, Risk and Compliance processes to automate and continuously monitor data security and privacy controls, exceptions, risks and testing.
  • Lead and manage the OneData and OnePass Data Governance, Risk and Compliance team in the maintenance of risk profiles, risk appetite statements, and reporting of risks in relation to business objectives 
  • Ownership for overall Data Management strategy and roadmap for OnePass and OneData 
  • Maintenance over central risk register
  • Internally assess, evaluate and make recommendations to management regarding the adequacy of the security, privacy and data governance controls
  • Establish and operate the data governance compliance program, ensuring data activities, processes, and procedures meet defined requirements, policies and regulations
  • Plan, implement, operate and monitor the framework for assessing control adequacy.
  • Develop reporting metrics, dashboards, and evidence artifacts

 

Reporting to: Chief Data Officer


To shine on day one, what you need to have:

  • Degree (Preferrable in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or Cyber Security specialisation.)
  • 2+years of professional security/privacy experience
  • 1st line Risk Management experience                                    
  • 1st line Data Management experience
