We are currently seeking experienced Underground Diamond Drillers to join our team.

Webdrill is a fast-growing underground diamond drilling company based in Perth, WA, with projects located in the Goldfields region of WA.

We employ Drillers and Offsiders to operate drill rigs to provide core samples for mining companies.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

  • Operate New Epiroc Drill Rigs
  • Leading drill crews
  • Conduct Drill moves (set up and pack up)
  • Assist in Mobilisation to sites
  • Add/remove drill rods and other down hole tools
  • Maintain drill rigs, vehicles, equipment and tools
  • Conduct daily pre-start and other safety/toolbox meetings when required
  • Assist with mixing drilling muds/fluids.
  • Completion of safety documentation and safe work practices
  • Liaise with and provide feedback to site supervisors on drilling operations
  • Train and mentor Offsiders and trainee Drillers.

The successful candidate must posses:

  • Previous underground diamond drilling experience in a Driller’s role.
  • Certificate II in Drilling Operations or higher.
  • Full Australian C Class (MANUAL) Driver’s Licence.
  • Current Australian National Police Check (no older than 6 months, or willing to get one).
  • First Aid Certification (or willing to get one)
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen.
  • Ability and willingness to work remotely/underground
  • Team player, with exceptional leadership skills and ability to positively contribute to the culture at Webdrill.
  • Professional presentation and manner.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to the Health and Safety of yourself and the team.
