We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified, experienced Recruitment & HR Advisor to join our team.

Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the Recruitment & HR Advisor will be responsible for providing a range of high quality, accurate and timely recruitment, HR advice and guidance.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to;

• Manage end-to-end recruitment and support mobilisation activities to the drilling operations. 

• Provide advisory and operational support to managers and employees across the employment life cycle with reference to the relevant awards, agreements, Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards (NES).

• Support and guide managers to undertake consistent and appropriate performance management to promote a high-performance culture.

• Ensure all HR employee paperwork is up to date and completed as appropriate, in line with industrial laws and statutory obligations.

• Assist the HR Manager with case management of employee relations matters.

• Ensure compliance with all statutory rules, Acts and Regulations as appropriate in the management of employees.

• Ensure that all employees have received appropriate Company Inductions and Training.

• Provide HR administrative support including records management, analytics and periodic reporting. 

• Notify the HR Manager of any major human resource or industrial relations issues that may impact on the Company.

• Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of effective HR policies and procedures.   

• Assist with HR projects, as required

• Conduct exit interviews

• Conduct probationary reviews

• Assist with the annual performance appraisals across the Company.

• Provide coverage of relevant positions in the business unit as required such as in the event of annual leave or other absences, ensuring that all handover notes are adhered to, and outstanding tasks completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills;

• A qualification in Human Resources. Minimum Diploma of Human Resource Management

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

• Sound understanding of HR and recruitment principles.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining highly effective stakeholder relationships, establishing a reputation for being a trusted advisor and business partner.

• Experience dealing with, including but not limited to, performance management, ER issues, coaching and problem solving.

• Demonstrated experience working effectively in a large, fast paced, complex and dynamic organisational environment.

• Proven problem-solving ability and time management skills are essential.

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Exceptional attention to detail

• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
