PMO Lead | Greenfield Global Technology Transformation

About the Role

The PMO Lead will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management standards, governance, overseeing project portfolios, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement PMO policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Oversee the project portfolio to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to project managers and teams.
  • Monitor project performance and ensure adherence to project management best practices.
  • Facilitate project prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Manage demand pipeline and capacity
  • Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure compliance with PMO standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for project management staff.
  • Prepare and present reports on project performance to senior management.

What You Will Need

  • Proven experience as a PMO Manager or in a similar role, that supports business strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices and project management methodologies / tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with all stakeholders internal and external to the organisation
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Previous experience working in complex multi-vendor environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and an approachable demeanour.
  • Proven ability in improving processes and driving change.
  • Proven experience in partnering with the business to deliver projects.
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to day-to-day business and positive approach to a continual changing work environment.
