The opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Risk & Governance Advisor to lead the implementation and ongoing optimisation of our new Enterprise Risk Management Framework (RMF) across Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Group General Counsel, this role plays a key part in embedding risk management practices, driving risk culture uplift, and ensuring high‑quality enterprise risk reporting to senior leaders and Kinetic’s Audit & Risk Committee.
Location: Brisbane or Melbourne
What you'll be doing
- Implement and roll out Kinetic’s RMF across Australia and New Zealand.
- Partner with business units to embed risk in decision‑making and support uplift in risk maturity and resilience.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Enterprise Risk Register.
- Prepare and coordinate enterprise‑wide risk reporting for senior management, board committees, auditors, and regulators, including KRIs and compliance assessments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise and emerging risk queries across ANZ.
- Monitor emerging risks, facilitate workshops, and support identification of strategic, financial, compliance, and emerging risks.
- Support policy and control uplift alongside the Transformation Team and SMEs.
About you
- 5+ years’ experience in risk management, governance, ethics/compliance, or legal roles
- Experience building and leading a second‑line risk or compliance function in large, complex organisations (transport/logistics/FMCG ideal)
- Strong knowledge of risk standards and ANZ corporate and safety laws (modern slavery, ABAC, privacy, data handling)
- Proven leadership, change management and senior stakeholder influence skills
