Project/Program Manager| Cybersecurity Maturity Uplift
About the Role
Kinetic Group is looking for a Cyber Security Project/Program Manager with a strong background in project delivery and cyber security transformation to lead the implementation of a global cyber uplift program. The successful candidate will oversee the rollout of a centralised CSOC, vulnerability management, ISO 27001/PCI DSS certification efforts, and internal capability uplift across multiple regions (AU, NZ, UK).
What You Will Do
- Own and drive the end-to-end delivery of the Cyber Maturity Uplift Program.
- Manage a multi-stream project plan covering ISO 27001, PCI DSS, CSOC onboarding, vulnerability management, and vendor risk governance.
- Facilitate RFI/RFP processes, vendor selection, contract execution, and onboarding.
- Track project timelines, risks, budgets, and dependencies; provide regular updates to the Steering Committee and executives.
- Coordinate with regional stakeholders to ensure local alignment and delivery success.
- Manage external partners, consultants, and tool integrations.
- Support the hiring, onboarding, and coordination of internal cyber resources.
- Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and risk/issue logs for executive consumption.
What You Will Need
- Strong and successful experience in program/project management, with at least 3 years focused on cyber security or GRC programs.
- Proven experience delivering ISO 27001 and/or PCI DSS compliance initiatives.
- Experience managing SIEM/SOAR, CSOC onboarding, and third-party security vendors.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive reporting skills.
- Familiarity with project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Certifications preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent.
- Experience working across multi-region/multi-vendor environments is highly desirable.
